Meet Halfway There Rescue's Board Members
Jessica Edwards came to Halfway There Rescue after an event in her life left her feeling the need for a purpose. A random post on Facebook about a Boxer needing a foster led to a phone call that started her journey into the world of animal rescue. Having two dogs of her own: Diesel and Zayda, her fourth foster was a "failure" and Cricket became a part of her family too. Jessica has never known a life without animals of some sort, but dogs have always been a constant source of happiness for her. She is currently vice president of the board. Jessica hopes her dedication to rescue work will help her educate others on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets and spread her belief that every shelter dogs deserves a second chance. |
Connie Jackson has been a volunteer and foster mom for Halfway There Rescue for since fall of 2012. She is currently the foster and volunteer coordinator. When she is not busy helping out with all the adorable animals, Connie is a full-time administrative assistant, wife of a volunteer fire fighter, and proud mother of three wonderful children. Connie is also a mother two three furry children! She has one pit bull and two pit bull mixes. She loves all breeds, but has a very special place in her heart for pit bulls.
